Tax Free
Save 15% GST on any jewellery purchase over $2,000 with our Tax-Free service
Simply collect your jewellery upon departing New Zealand from any international airport.
How it works
When you collect your jewellery at the airport and take it out of the country, we can show the item has been exported and claim back the GST on your behalf. You don't need to handle the GST refund process yourself — we take care of it for you. The price you pay for your jewellery will already exclude GST, ensuring you enjoy tax-free savings with no extra steps required.
How to buy tax free in store
If you wish to purchase your jewellery tax-free, let us know, and we will remove the GST from the purchase price. Your jewellery will then be delivered to an airport of your choice, where you can collect it upon departure from the country.
You will need to provide us with the following information:
- Full Name, as written in your passport
- Email Address
- Flight Date and Time
- Flight Number
- Passport Number
- Country where your passport was issued
Once we receive your travel information, we will email you no later than 24 hours before your travel with instructions for collecting your jewellery. If you are departing from Auckland Airport, you will receive an email from 'The Collection Point' with a unique barcode and a map of where to collect your jewellery.

The fine print
Tax-Free purchases are only available to travellers departing New Zealand on international flights. You cannot collect your jewellery upon arrival in New Zealand or when travelling domestically.
We typically require one week's notice before your flight to deliver your jewellery to the airport. If we are making a bespoke item for you, please factor in the manufacturing time, typically 4-6 weeks. If you are travelling in less than a week, please phone us before making your purchase to see if we can deliver it to your selected airport on time - we will accommodate you if possible.
Our tax-free service is only available on jewellery purchases over $2,000 (including GST). This can be a combination of several items that total $2,000 or more.
Your travel must be within three months of purchase for 'ready-to-wear' items or within three months of completion for bespoke pieces.
You will have the opportunity to view your jewellery in-store before it is sent to the airport; however, you cannot take it out of the shop.
Your jewellery is fully insured until you collect it at the airport.
Bringing your jewellery back into New Zealand
When bringing jewellery acquired tax-free back into New Zealand, NZ Customs offers a “Wearing Apparel and Personal Effects Concession.” This concession allows you to bring your personal jewellery into New Zealand without incurring duty or GST, provided the following conditions are met:
- The jewellery must be personally owned by you.
- The jewellery must be intended for your own personal use and wear.
- The jewellery must not be intended for any other person, nor for gift, sale, or exchange.
If you meet these criteria, you can bring the jewellery back into New Zealand without incurring customs duty or GST. However, if you do not meet these conditions, you may be asked to pay GST and duty upon re-entering New Zealand and declaring the jewellery. It is your responsibility to correctly complete the customs declaration.
